The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is pleased to announce that it has developed its own Electronic Bid Submission Portal (EBSP) and will gradually be doing away with manual submission of tenders through the tender mailbox. This EBSP will enable bidders to submit their bids and manage interactions with CSIR more effectively.
Bidders must be 'in business' status on the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) and active on National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) to register. It is compulsory to register on the EBSP to be able to submit bids to the CSIR.
